I am a hard core foodie.Food is my favorite topic.I pamper myself with food when I am happy, sad, angry, not feeling good and when not.Apparently, in every emotion food comes to my rescue.Having a lovely husband who is a partner in crime, be it cooking or trying varieties outside is an added bonus. As much as I love to eat, I love to cook as well.Feeding people who appreciate and respect food as much as I do (at least close) is an awesome experience for me.I can never regret putting effort and time to cook for the people whom I love.
I have tried various cuisines including but not limited to Malaysian, Chinese, Japanese, Arabian, meditarenean, western and what not.Indian cuisine is my all time favorite and I can never get bored of it.I mean look that the elaborate variety in our menu. The food with spices and masalas used in numerable ways is an heavenly experience altogether.Food is a way of showing love.It is a way God showers blessing on us.For me wasting food is no less than a sinful act.I can say more than I love food I respect what comes on my plate.I never finish a meal without being grateful about it.
Often one can find me indulged in food experiments.I love to watch various cooking shows and try to add my own twist and touch to it.Here are some pics from my plate.
An attitude of gratitude is very appropriate when it comes to food!

I really admire people who enjoy cooking. Personally, I absolutely HATE cooking! I've tried my hand at a few things here and there and whenever I do, I usually do a good job and the experiments turn out good. But I just don't enjoy the process. I so admire those who do and who put so much love and effort into their cooking. My sister-in-law LIVES in the kitchen and she is a magnificent cook. She watches a lot of cooking shows too and tries lots of things. My brother eats real good, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteMe? Give me the microwave and I'm happy! :)
